Russian-speaking Editorial Assistant
The Caucasian Review of International Affairs – CRIA- (http://www.cria-online.org )
is looking for a Russian-speaking Editorial Assistant. This
position is open to all.
Responsibilities
- Promoting the work of CRIA throughout the Russian-speaking
academic, research and political spheres in the CIS;
- Developing partnerships with Russian-language think tanks and
research institutes in the CIS;
- Translating certain CRIA publications (primarily, the weekly
“Caucasus Update”) into Russian for distribution to
Russian-language news and analytical websites.
Requirements
- Native (or very fluent) Russian speaker;
- Fluent English speaker;
- Successful graduate of disciplines such as political science,
security studies, international relations, media studies, etc;
- Good presentation skills and the ability to deal
professionally with a range of contacts;
- Motivation and enthusiasm for promoting the work of CRIA;
- The ability to work to strict deadlines;
- Experience in working remotely is desirable.
This position is part-time, unpaid and will be conducted online.

The Caucasian Review of International Affairs (CRIA) is a
Germany-based, quarterly peer-reviewed free, not-for-profit and
online academic journal. With its preeminent International
Advisory Board and Editorial
Board representing
various academic institutions the Review is committed to promote
a better understanding of regional affairs by providing relevant
background information and analysis, as far as the Caucasus in
general, and the South Caucasus in particular are concerned.
CRIA also welcomes lucid, well-documented papers on other
countries and regions including especially Turkey, Iran, Central
Asia, Russia, Ukraine, Eastern Europe as well as on all aspects
of international affairs, from all political viewpoints. CRIA
is currently indexed in the following research databases:
Columbia International Affairs Online, Directory of Open Access
Journals, ProQuest Research Library, EBSCOhost Research
